Famalicão Council tender for an underground car park

Famalicão Council will open a public tender for the construction of an underground car park next to the health centre on 25 April Avenue. The proposal will be discussed at the next council meeting, scheduled for this Thursday.

Cost, timetable and location of the works

The new facility has an estimated cost of €2.6 million, with construction expected to take 270 days. The underground car park will be built beneath the plot that currently houses the Municipal Police and other council services, beside the health centre.

Parking capacity and related improvements

The project will create 80 new paid public parking spaces: 48 spaces within the new underground car park, plus a further 30 spaces delivered through the refurbishment of the health centre’s external area. The contract also includes upgrading the outdoor space and reconfiguring access to the municipal services.
