Temporary relocation to the Trofa Fire Brigade hall

Refurbishment works at the S. Martinho de Bougado Health Centre are forcing a temporary move, with services being relocated to the multi-purpose hall of the Trofa Fire Brigade. The move is due to be completed this Thursday.

Transfer of services and opening of consultations

The S. Martinho de Bougado Health Centre, which is set to undergo refurbishment and extension works, has been operating from the Trofa Fire Brigade’s multi-purpose hall since Wednesday, with walk-in consultations available. According to Trofa Council, speaking to JN, the remaining services will be transferred by this Thursday, with the council carrying out the relocation of the facilities.

Full clinical activity expected and PRR-funded works

A council source said that, by the afternoon, it will already be possible to achieve a "full resumption of clinical" activity at the temporary location. The health unit will remain in the fire brigade hall until the building’s refurbishment is finished-an investment of 2.5 million euros funded by the PRR, which is expected to be completed by the end of August.
